2026 FGT Results - Valspar Championship

Gotta be honest, there’s a lot of other sports on right now (just watched St John’s knockoff Kansas in the NCAA basketball tournament, much to the dismay of my son as his bracket disintegrates) so I really didn’t see much of this tournament. However, I’m reliably informed by the PGA Tour website that Matt Fitzpatrick continued his good play and was able to get the win this afternoon, one week after battling Cam Young for the Players trophy. I believe he’s officially #trending…

He was only picked 8 times this year, and five of those were with Schauffele (T4, with Sungjae and Penge). Three teams had just those guys in the tournament this week, and they still managed a respectable T4 finish in our game. The winner was Can’tcun1, who added Tom Kim, Finau, and Horschel to those two to take the victory by a slim $5,000 over Irish Sluggers (tough luck there chaps). This moves Can’tcun1 up from 29th to 10th overall. Not bad.

Bumperhead maintains the overall lead by a little over $1MM.
