The Chairman wins the ISCO, while Gotterup gets it done at Renaissance

Two events this weekend - the Genesis Scottish Open and the ISCO Championship. We’ll start with the JV event, where “The Chairman”, William Mouw gets his first PGA Tour victory at the ISCO Championship in Louisville, KY. The win gets him $720k, but helped absolutely no one in our league as he went unpicked by every team this year. Guessing that changes next year! In the end, Hood It At The Top had enough guys sneak through and pulled out the win over UTR by a scant ~$3,000. The win moves them from 197th to 195th overall.

In the main Tour event, the Genesis Scottish Open, Chris Gotterup got it…done, beating out Marco Penge and Rory McIlroy to win his second Tour event (no one remembers he won the Myrtle Beach event last year), despite being put on the clock while playing very slow. Two of our teams selected Gotterup, and Jake & Tim stacked him with enough other guys to pull out the victory by a slim ~$13k margin over…UTR. This means that UTR missed out on two victories this week by about $16,000! Brutal. Jake and Tim move up into the money spots, from 47th to 36th overall.

Purdue Pete maintains the overall lead over Honsie Gilmore, but it is very close, with the lead having shrunk to just $76k as we head into another double feature weekend and the year’s final Major.
